Terms of Service

Welcome to Pairify. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Pairify mobile application (the "App," "Pairify," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the App.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use Pairify. By using the App, you represent and warrant that:

• You are at least 18 years old.
• You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
• You have never been convicted of, or pleaded no contest to, a felony, a sex crime, or any crime involving violence.
• You are not required to register as a sex offender with any government entity.
• You will only maintain one active account, and the information you provide is accurate and truthful.
• You are not prohibited by law from using dating or social-networking services in your jurisdiction.

2. Your Account

You're responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. You must notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access to your account. You may sign in using Google Sign-In or other methods we make available; you're responsible for keeping the credentials for those methods secure.

3. Your Conduct

Pairify has a zero-tolerance policy toward child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). This includes, without limitation, grooming, sextortion, trafficking, or any sexual exploitation or endangerment of a minor, and any content depicting or facilitating such abuse. Any account found engaging in this conduct will be permanently banned, and the matter will be reported to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) and/or relevant law enforcement, as required by applicable law. You can report suspected CSAE directly within the App (see Section 8), or by emailing our designated child safety point of contact at [email protected].

You agree not to:

• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your identity, age, or affiliation.
• Post or send content that is unlawful, harassing, threatening, defamatory, hateful, sexually explicit involving anyone under 18, or otherwise objectionable.
• Use the App to solicit money, gifts, or financial information from other users ("catfishing" or romance-scam behavior), or otherwise engage in fraud.
• Harass, stalk, threaten, or otherwise harm another user, whether inside or outside the App.
• Upload content you don't have the right to share, including copyrighted material belonging to someone else.
• Use bots, scripts, scrapers, or other automated means to access or interact with the App.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise access the App's source code, except where permitted by law.
• Use the App for any commercial purpose (advertising, solicitation, promotion) without our prior written consent.
• Create more than one account, or create an account on behalf of someone else without their permission.
• Circumvent, disable, or otherwise interfere with security features of the App, including content moderation and reporting systems.

We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate action against anyone who, in our sole discretion, violates this section — including removing content, and suspending or terminating accounts, without prior notice.

4. Content You Provide

You retain ownership of the photos, messages, posts, comments, and other content you submit to the App ("Your Content"). By submitting Your Content, you grant Pairify a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, and display Your Content solely for the purpose of operating, providing, and improving the App (for example, showing your profile photo to other users, or displaying your posts in the community feed).

You are solely responsible for Your Content and confirm that you have all necessary rights to share it, and that it does not violate these Terms, any applicable law, or any third party's rights.

We may, but are not obligated to, review, moderate, or remove Your Content at our discretion, including in response to reports from other users.

5. Matching, Messaging, and Related Features

• Pairify's swipe, match, and messaging features (including message requests and "opening move" replies) are provided to help you connect with other users. We do not guarantee that you will find a match, a conversation, or a relationship through the App.
• One-time-view photos sent in chat are intended to be viewed once by the recipient; we cannot guarantee against screenshotting or other capture of such images outside the App's control.
• We do not conduct criminal background checks or otherwise verify the identity, intentions, or safety of any user, and we make no representations or warranties as to the conduct of users, whether inside or outside the App.

6. Meeting Other Users — Your Safety

You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users, both online and offline. We strongly encourage you to:

• Meet in a public place for initial in-person meetings.
• Tell a friend or family member where you're going and who you're meeting.
• Never send money, gift cards, or financial information to someone you've met on Pairify.
• Trust your instincts, and report any user who makes you feel unsafe.

Pairify is not responsible or liable for the conduct of any user, whether on or off the App, and we disclaim any liability arising from your interactions with other users.

7. Pairify Premium (Subscriptions)

Pairify offers an optional paid subscription ("Pairify Premium") providing features such as unlimited swipes, additional filters, the ability to message without a mutual match, and rematch requests.

• Subscriptions are billed and managed through Google Play Billing, and are subject to Google Play's own terms, billing cycle, and cancellation process.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date, through your Google Play account settings.
• Refunds are handled in accordance with Google Play's refund policies; we do not independently guarantee refunds outside of what Google Play provides, except where required by applicable law.
• We may change the features, pricing, or availability of Pairify Premium at any time, with reasonable notice where required by law.

8. Reporting, Blocking, and Enforcement

You can report or block other users directly within the App. We review reports at our discretion and may take action including warning, suspending, or permanently banning an account that violates these Terms, with or without prior notice.

If your account is suspended or banned, you may have the opportunity to appeal that decision through the process made available in the App or by contacting [email protected]. We are not obligated to reverse any enforcement decision.

9. Account Deletion and Data Handling

You may stop using the App and request deletion of your account at any time, using the "Delete My Account" option in Settings, or by emailing [email protected]. Deleting your account immediately hides your profile from other users, but is not immediately permanent: you have 30 days to change your mind by simply logging back in, which automatically and fully restores your account with no separate approval needed. If you do not log back in within that 30-day period, your account and its associated data are permanently and irreversibly deleted. Full detail on exactly what is deleted, and the narrow, non-identifying information we retain afterward for fraud-prevention purposes, is described in our Privacy Policy. Accounts we remove ourselves for violating these Terms (for example, a ban) may be handled differently, as also described there.

10. Intellectual Property

The Pairify name, logo, and App design (excluding Your Content) are the property of Pairify and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App without our prior written permission.

11. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, OR THAT ANY DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, PAIRIFY AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE APP, INCLUDING YOUR INTERACTIONS WITH OTHER USERS, WHETHER BASED IN CONTRACT, TORT, OR OTHERWISE.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Pairify and its operators harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another person or entity.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Pakistan.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the App or by other reasonable means. Your continued use of the App after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
